I wouldn't call it a bad experience, more of a minor annoyance.
I did a chat with their online person about a Mustang they had in stock. They wanted a phone number, but I said I didn't really want to get into phone calls yet. They asked for an email, which I willingly gave them. Later that day I get a call on my cell phone from them. Apparently they looked it up somewhere.

I am looking at a 2015 red mustang gt. It is an ok price. I have seen others for 1500 to 2000 less but out of state. Hoping they will deal a little and come down on price. It seems the 15's prices are all over the place. Some gt' so are 30,000 and gt premiums are cheaper other places.

When I bought my 2013 F-150 at Washington Ford they matched an advertised price at another Ford dealership near Washington DC. Saved me a road trip. Might do the same on the Mustang you're interested in as well

I will say (not sure if I'll get hit for advertising) but there's a boat load of rebates out for F-150s right now.

We bought an expedition there back in December.
Salesman was ok....no real complaints.
From what I can tell about the dealership - their prices are good in the first place for used vehicles. For new vehicles washington ford (their sister company) will advertise lower prices on the same vehicle right off the bat.
If you are looking at the red 15 with about 5800 miles on it listed on their website, remember that is a previous RENTAL car and is priced accordingly. It will have seen more abuse (most likely) than a private owned vehicle. Make sure you negotiate the certified pre-owned warranty into the deal at the end.

How much more than the advertised money off? I see some listed at 8400 off MSRP on a 15 model. I have been trying to talk myself into a new 2.7 truck for a DD. If I hold my arm out, how much can you twist it?

The 15' F-150s are getting big rebates for the mere fact we have 11 of them and already have 61 2016s.
As far as the chat, I doubt that was me. I don't just crazy call like some of them do lol

Also just to clarify, it was not a rental car. It was a corporate fleet car from SW Michigan. That means it was a Ford Employee car. (My Boss 302 was the same thing)

To clarify, you would need to prove that to me.
Our expedition was also a corporate fleet vehicle - it was NOT a Ford employee vehicle as my salesman informed me. How do I know? My wife found previous insurance information in the glove box that showed it was a previous rental vehicle.
Needless to say, I was not happy about being misinformed.

The way to prove that is by looking at the window sticker corporate/fleet cars have a tag # on the window sticker. Also, Ford Corporate vehicles are only registered in Southfield Michigan. (this Mustang in question fits both of those). Also rentals cars aren't sold to dealers with 5,000 miles nor do they use GT premiums.
If you give me your vin# I can look into the system for you. If that was the case for you I would apologize.

Also, since rental car companies have $70,000 platinum expeditions on the lot, not sure why a premium mustang wouldn't be on the lot?

It's not about the price but the liability of a V8, rear drive sports car doesn't generally exist on rental car lots. I'm not sure why this is turning into an argument?
All I did was rebuttal with real facts..
My email address is dburns@woltzwindford.com, i don't mind putting it here it's public knowledge on the dealer website.

Not an argument but pointing out that rental car companies can and do have mustang GT premiums all day long for rent.

There are (2) for $8400 off and (2) for $11,000 off MSRP. Additional money off for other incentives like military, previous owners exist also. There just a bunch of variables per individual basis so it's kinda hard to say. But financing rates are very very good now also. If you are going to get a new 2015 F-150, nows the time to do it. They want these gone for the 16s in the worst way..

Jon Kirks.
A friend just scored a new F150 and it was a great experience.
Call Jon. Tell him “I don’t know Greg Farrell from a Mustang group, so let’s pretend I know Christy Farrell because I know Dan Wind likes her way more.†Jon will laugh and set up a time for you to meet. It’s an inside joke and now you’re on the inside. Hope it helps!
