I can't wrap my head around the looks of this FRC. However, the price is hard to ignore. For 1/2 the money, you get performance on par with a brandy new pony car of either flavor...

I used to always say I wouldn't buy any sports/muscle/pony car than a mustang, and I still don't think I could stomach a Camaro (sorry Cam), but c5, c6, and c7 vettes have had my interest for awhile now. Best all around (straight line and twisties) car for the money by far.

I had a 06 z. It was the best over all fun car . Even 5th gear would pull on the highway

I've read so many horror stories about the crappy heads on that 7.0L I don't even look at C6 Z at all. Were there really that many problems or like anything else on internetz,,, the 20 people that had problems went ape shit and blew everything out of proportion ???

So, I spent all afternoon reading about first-gen LS6 engine and oil consumption (pistons need re-rung) and valve spring problems. They only made 5,xxx of them. There must've been problems. I can research anything until I find reason not to buy it. :sad****er:

Was delivered... on Meegan's lot. Still dirty from the trip and still has the white stickers on the bumpers and door handles. Looks awesome, stopped last night after dinner, on vacation next week, this could get ugly... and I mean that in a good (time to own another Mustang) way.

We all know I'm on the fence here, so I will def. own up to that, but let me tell you what happen to me last two days. Take Miata to Meegan Ford and stare at Magnetic 16 GT PP for 15 or 20 minutes and NO BODY comes out to talk to me. I have my title for Miata and checkbook in pocket. I just needed somebody to talk me into it. Yeah, like I said before, I'm not that invested, but damn, how do you not go out and talk to somebody standing on your lot for 15 minutes? Is that the way dealers work now? I'm not going to go inside and beg somebody to take my money.

Whatevers... went straight to Auto Zone and got a new battery for this Miata... I've been scared of it since I killed it... so that's another $137 invested in this thing... will be around for, at least, another year. Needs inspection in June, not sure if I will order wheel/tire combo for it... def. be sticking around after that.

Anyway, I don't have the balls to pull the trigger... carry on.
