Didn't know where else to put a tire comparison other than "my" technical section.
Anyhow, if I keep this Miata it's getting new tires soon. I got it narrowed down to these two choices. They're both about 100 bucks. I'm not tracking this car, so I'm not interested in anything like the Bridgestone Potenza RE-71R with a 200 treadwear for $150... even though they look pretty sweet. they'd probably break my stock wheels off. :bounce:
The above listed tires are both 340 treadwear and the ratings are real close on Tire Rack.
Just wondering between the two, have you guys any experience with the Continentals or BF Goodrich ?

Conti DW all day, every day. Amazing in the wet good in the dry.

I had the BFG's on my WRX and liked them. They were awsome when they were brand new! I feel like traction in the rain drastically went downhill even with little wear though... I have heard excellent things about the Continentals though, I'd try those first...

Waaaaaaaayyyyy more money, better, but not enough to justify the extra cost for his intended usage anyway.

I have the DW's on my mustang, and I think they're a really good tire. I just bought two 275's for the rear, getting them installed today.

Have to be better than the PZeros. I can easily do burnouts from a 50 roll with these piles of trash.

I'm lucky, I never had to deal with the pzero's. But yeah, everyone says those tires are trash.

I think I'm gonna do this ^^^... more I read about them. F it. was gonna get wheels (just to get black color, not any different size than stock) and tires combo for about 1,100, but F that. I'll just get these Pilots... keep original wheels are fine. If I wanna get crazy on the way to the shoe store, I can!
