Welcome aboard! Are you still running front drums? If so I may be selling the Granada spindles / rotors / calipers currently on my '66. You definitely need to make those cars stop better before you increase horsepower.

For more power your best bet is a heads/cam/intake upgrade. Lots of guys around here know a bunch about making pushrod motors run hard. If your budget is a little higher a stroked small block ( 302 or 351W ) is always a good choice. Forced induction is always fun as well. If you are running a tall gear then an upgrade there always helps. Most Mustangs came with 3:1 gears which hurt performance in exchange for better gas mileage - but who cares about MPG? (Yes John...we know YOU care! :hello: )

Where do you live? You can put that under the avatar photo.

Oh - and pics and more info about your car please!

Welcome. First mod I'd do is an LS swap asap.

One more great mod - a T-5 tranny will bolt right up and no mods are needed for the floor pan.

Heads, cam, intake. That's where the power resides, in that order. Are you planning on doing the mods yourself? Or finding a reputable shop?
