actually probably simple and petty but im lost.

1. is there anyway to replace the dome light? the fuse that would controll it is fine cuz everything else works. but i have no dome light, and my shiity repair book doesnt say how to do it? do you just pull like hell? im sure there is a bulb you can replace in it.

2. the light inside my ash tray panel. the ash tray lid is broken (go figure) off my fox so there is a little light on in there. is that draining my alt/battery power? like is there a switch in there like a refridgerator that the light is on when door is open? or what?

:dunno:

also a couple more....sometimes after driving for a while (at night) my lights go out....all of them...i turn them off for a few seconds and they come back on. does this a few times normally. im thinking maybe a bad ground. what else could it be?

and finally....this is my bumbest question yet..... but shouldnt the OUTSIDE (labeled as A) turn signals be the ones to blink signifying a turn? cause my inside (labeled as B) ones do :dunno:

more than likely you need to do that.. your connector going into the T-sig switch might be fried.. mine was... that fix is pretty easy to do and looks cooler with fogs on w/o the headlights on....

Hey Jared - I told you that you could share my thread......

Anyway here are my thoughts

Check for loose or unhooked grounds in the engine compartment. there are two ground wires on the radiator support behind the headlights. Also sounds like your headlight switch is shorting out. However the "driving" fog lights are not supposed to work unless the head lights are on. If they come on at any other time, then they have been re-wired. This is standard on any GT fox .Hope this helps

Ok, sorry. I didn't read the article till now. Looks like that would work OK. Hope you find someone to help. If it were my car, I would try to tackle this myself, with a buddy and a case of beer. Either we'd get the car fixed or get wasted.
