the racing was awsome, but the car show jugdes had something to be desired. they gave a hatchback lx a first place in the convertible class and i'm not happy with other classes either, its not that there wan't nice cars there ,but they don't even know what they were looking at , sorry for rant . the racing was the best part pro 5.0 is  my favorite is outlaw drag radial:goodidea:

Yep Randy is right, it sucked. We got there saturday at 1-ish and drove home the same day when the track was shutting down.

Nothing like the good time we had last year at St Louis..

I had a good time. The racing was pretty good and I got to meet a lot of people that I had not had the chance to before.

The car show was an absolute joke. They had a class that lumped SVO's and Bullitt mustangs together, they awarded an LX hatch a place in the convertible class, and a focus with a V8 and rear wheel drive won its modified class when it clearly should have been in super mod due to the driveline mods per the rules. If I ever go again, which I doubt, I will only go if I fly there. I did get a chance to talk with a lot of vendors and got a lot of answers to a lot of questions. I was dissapointed in the vendor turnout, I think less than 1/2 that were listed in 5.0 that were supposed to be there actually were.

Weather was good. Ran a new personal best and was happy to get my 60' times into the 1.4 range (2 runs). Going to work on getting a 1.3x. Most of my runs were in the 1.5x range with ET ranging from 10.6 to 10.4. I had two spinng launches that resulted in a 10.8 and a 10.7. Manged to get 11 runs in over the four days.

Best run:
60': 1.418
300: 4.225
1/8: 6.608
MPH: 103.44
1000: 8.662
1/4: 10.411
MPH: 125.83 <-- ~3 MPH slower than my prior best
