View Full Version : New hood
Went to HO Fibertrends yesterday for my new hood. Very nice people to deal with. A few on my friends have their products on various mustangs. Quality is second to none. Luxurysportscar and ViperEd here made my final decision to purchase this hood. Here it is for the test fitment. Fits perfect!!! Will be Torreador red tonight and hopfully back on the car.
The underside... Nice finish.

Me either. I might be heading out to my painters house Real soon. My wife wanted to take the stang out on Friday night. Well, Insainly Crazys bud came to buy my old hood. That nixed the thought of taking the stang out. HAHA When she asked why we werent in the stang, I told her. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA It was funny. So long story short, get painted today, drive tonight or tomorrow if no rain. My painter just got this new clear in. We used it on my Cobra grille last week. This stuff is amazing. With the proper temp, you can sand and buff in 2 hours after final coat of clear. If needed.

Ashville Ohio. 183 miles away. Exactly. I was heading that way anyways. My bud lives in Dayton. I had to stop by his house for a few things. Figured while I was there:rolleyes: I might as well get what I wanted. I brought anither one back too. Same thing. A local friend wanted it. That maxed the truck out. The hoods were sitting even with the bed rails.

I've heard nothing but good things about HO fibertrends.
One of their guys is "into" some older stuff, so they make a true SVO replacement hood, not a SVO scoop on another hood, but a glass replacement hood for the SVO, and they make a Capri hood too.
I will likely be picking one up for my Capri at the Columbus fall swap ;)

I had a conversation with the owner. He was into some older stuff. He was even making the old teardrop hoods for the 60s Fords.
