I was debating between going there or PRP to bracket race. What is traction like at the FLD's? Do they prep or something? I've not tried this yet.

Traction is pretty bad. Bring ET Streets or at the least drag radials if you want to hook at all.

Brian bring the hot rod Blazer thingy!!!!!!!!!!!

If my son wants to go we will be watching. If he stays home I might work the staging lanes.

I'm still almost stock (intake and exhaust) and it hooked good for me at Ebensburg. I need to get an extra set of rims for sticky tires.

I ran DRs there when I went and I actually got better traction with no burnout and a higher tire pressure than when I ran @ both QCR and Mason Dixon using the waterbox and burnouts with low psi.

I think with DR's there you will be good. There is no prep since you're racing on an airport runway but I think with DRs youd be fine.
