well long story as short as possible,....

i had originaly FMS blue wires....did a tune up and went with red...had red #3 melt on header....put blue #3 on and had no problems.

well today i went to put on my new red #3...and its touching the header again....put the blue #3 back on and its off....took some side by side pics and comparisons....the blue wire has a smaller circumfrance of boot then the red wire

install them so every other wire is red and blue. when people ask about it, tell them that's how you roll. :laughing1:

My FMS wires were too long, but other than that they seem OK

I was told that the FMS wires have horribly high resistance compared to the quality plug wires on the market. I should have known the FMS wires weren't that great, since they were only $40. I was told the MSD, Taylor, or Jacobs wires are the way to go.

I guess it's a good thing that I don't drive my car at night then!!:biglaugh: :biglaugh: :biglaugh:

Sounds like I should pick up some nice MSD wires to go along with my 6AL, Blaster 2, and BTM...

I never had any issues with the FMS wires.

I haven't had issues with the FMS wires either. They seem to work fine, and my car really runs well. But the resistance numbers are really bad from what I've heard when compared to the other wires on the market. I think I might have improved results if I change to a "better" wire.
