It's ALIVE!!! I fired it up on 5-31-07 and trailered it to Carlisle on Saturday with a whopping 4 miles on the new engine! I drove it around in Carlisle and I unloaded it from the trailer in Bedford and drove it home yesterday. I now have 92 miles on it and other than having a stalling issue that I'm thinking is due to a faulty/stuck IAC everything seems so far so good. I even managed to get the hood and front bumper painted and on the car last week. Here are a few pics, I hope to get some video up of it this week as well as some better exterior shots. I have fog lights yet to put in and lot of detailing/cleaning up of the car to do. Sitting in a large open garage/barn for the last two years has taken its toll on a lot of parts.

It had been down for exactly 2 years, 7 weeks, and 3 days!!! I worked on it for >60 hours over the last 2 weeks trying to get it running and to Carlisle. It came down to the wire (I was up until 2am friday night and back up at 6am on saturday to get it done for Carlisle) but I made it there and back and the car is still running!!! :)

Thanks Jay and 393 rag. Jay, once I get some of the little bugs worked out I'll be calling you. I want to put a few more miles on it before I send it to you.

393-if it was the feature my car had in 5.0, my mom's bullitt is also in the back in the showcase section. They shot my dad for his feature the same day, but they didn't run his car for 2-3 months after mine was out. I had hoped we would have all have been in the same mag. at the same time.

I should note that my current combo is only temporary. The heads, cam, entire fuel system, etc will all be replaced hopefully in the next year or so when my single PTK tubo setup goes on. I already have the turbo kit and its killing me not being able to put it on, but I ran out of funds and wanted the car on the road so I cut a few corners. :(

Glad to hear that thing are working out for the good. Was good to hear your car rumble in on its own power.....I could hear you before i could see you. That was nice . Also enjoy you and your family when we went out to eat:eat: everyone had a good time if you went away hungry it was your own doing............

Thanks guys! I can't wait to get out and do some racing/hanging out again with you all!

Joe- the car is too loud for my liking, I will have tail pipes on it very soon! Oh, and if you would have seen the plates of food I had at that place you'd know I didn't go away hungry! :)

Sean- yes, those are the stock side skirts. Ultimately I plan to run saleen side skirts and a saleen rear bumper. The car should be getting painted this winter at which time I will switch them.

Jared- here are some new pics. I don't know, I think they look good with the new stuff. I can assure you that neither the wheels or the new parts are going anywhere as I have way too much money invested in both.:veryhappy: I'm still not sure if I like the sides and rear with the rest of the car, but this is the way it will look until I get the entire car painted this winter. I do think I need to lower the car some more, but I have to wait until the bullitt springs finish settling before I set the front's ride height.

I installed my fog lights tonight and they make the front end look even better. I hope to get the car out again tomorrow and grab some new pics. I'm up over 100 miles on it now. :awsome:

Looks GREAT Paul. I know you have overcome many trials and tribulations to get it to the current state. I believe you will be able to meet the e.t. goals we discussed, hell it may go quicker. Ain't no better feeling (well maybe a couple) when a project comes together:D
