It is an awesome thing to see, as well as be a part of. I did Mustangs Across America back in '94, which was a caravan from Ca. to N.C., when we all were getting off the interstate, all you could see were literally hundreds of Mustangs along the shoulder of the road approaching the exit. All with their headlights on and a very protective police escort into the hotel.

If anyone is driving a Stang with a sunroof, T-Tops or a Vert., they need to bring along a camera-man. To shoot behind as you get to the destination. It really is a cool sight.:twothumbsup: I have 2 vhs tapes worth of footage I am in the process of transferring to dvd.

directions for all

from turnpike:

go to cranberry exit #28 then hed north one of two ways

you can take 19N to Rt 228 or get onto I79N and get off exit 78(you basically just loop around onto the exit ramp)


from I79:

take exit #78 and go east on rt 228

once on rt 228 you will go past the marriott light and hereford & hops is the next right off rt 228(about a 1/4 mile from marriott :laughing: )

I would trailer it...Its not worth the risk!
I have been in the rain many times with drag radials/DOT slicks and it was almost like being on snow.
With the pending rain I am only bringing my 2007 and leaving the Ranger and LX home

Not much, and there's no rhyme or reason to what I took. If it caught my eye, I snapped it. They are right-click downloadable in small or large (by clicking on the pic) format. In looking through them I realized I took a lot of engine bay pics - mostly to show to some of my Lightning pals. Some great stuff there.

Let me explain the F-150 "Boss 5.4" pics - I didn't snap them out of admiration - I snapped them so I could continue making fun of it. All that glam, and no sack. A supercharged F-150 with a 100 mph spedo??? Come on....Plus the owner won't open the hood. At least not with that much real muscle around.

There were a lot of different Stangs, but all in various locations. So it made it a bit difficult to get any year or model "group photos". Plus there were other makes & models too, so it was all here & there. Otherwise, the day was really cool, plus the weather was excellent.

And to top it off, on the way home, I got to listen to an awesome Silver Cobra from 6-10 car length back on the turnpike, all the way to the Monroeville exit:goodidea: I just turned the radio off.......

yes...that was an awesome time....meeting up with all those stangs in monroeville, then heading to the big show...it was great....nice to see all that muscle and not the garbage that im used too....met some cool people too...94gt's son's saleen was possibly one of the best looking cars there...loved it

Although, I do like the the darker, almost burgundy Redfire on the newer models. I drove a Blue/Silver GT for 14 years, I don't know why the red keeps coming back to me????

I only drove it for like three months and hated it. some guy ended up hitting me twice in it and I got another car. not a lot of damage to the car, but was great excuse to get a new one. lol. yeah thats the thing with the tan interior it limits color choices. my dd is white with tan leather. which is nice, but tan doesn't work with too many colors imo.

I considered heading in your direction after the Pike, but I figured once you were gone......you were gone. I kept counting how far back I could be before I stopped hearing you. Had to be at least 10 car lengths, possibly more due to trailers on the road. And exiting the toll booth, :biglaugh: unreal!!!!! I head out towards Murrysville occasionally, my Dad lives in Apollo, so I'm on 22 & 286 from time to time. Probably hear you coming or going one these days. Trust me, I'll recognize that car before I see it.
