Hey guys and gals,
Would any of you know of a "trustworthy" Tuner with a dyno around the Pittsburgh area? I want to make sure my Cobra is tuned correctly and see what kind of numbers she puts down. I talked to the guys at ASAP on Rt8 but they seems a little off to me. I have seen the same cars in front of the shop for a long time now and it has me scratching my head.

Hybrid Dynamics.

Chris00GT here either works there or his dad owns it...either way he is a member here and affiliated with HD. :goodidea:
Your thinking of SGS. Hybrid doesn't tune Mustangs.

that wouldnt be because he blows them up, then takes 5 months to fix properly... and i wouldnt know from experience

Jared,
I think you have your info wrong. Chris00GT was affilated with Kaufmanns Motorsports but it is now know as SGS Automotive
http://www.sgsperformance.com/
Chris is not associated with SGS now.

Ruthless,
SGS is in the Carliese (sp?) area and they do fantastic work. I highly recomend them.

Another vote for Dave @ SGS. He tuned my 03 Cobra to the 500 rwhp mark and it runs and drives great!

I just found a place called big shot dyno and Performance? They are 100 miles from me and north of Akron. Has anyone heard of them? They claim to be the "Only authorized Kenne Bell dealer and installer in Ohio." and they have SCT tuning.

I had my car tuned there last summer, and plan on getting it re-tuned there once my motor is broken in. Guy name Keith owns, he's a great guy. He tunes with SCT software.

that wouldnt be because he blows them up, then takes 5 months to fix properly... and i wouldnt know from experience Thats what I was thinking. I also heard you have to sign your life away on papers saying its the the shops fault if the engine blows. Thats crazy if you ask me because the tuning software should tell them if things are going bad before it blows. On top of that you give him your car and have to leave.:yikes:

I also heard that they had a good mustang tuner that left because te owner is hard to work for.

I've been to Big Shot a couple times. Keith is a good guy.
