i installed my coilovers on the font of my notch. i lost the instructions from years ago. they were installed on my hatch but when taking them off the hatch they came apart
now one question is if i installed it correct
on top of the coil is the collar, then 2 thin shims, then a bearing shim, then the top, then i have a 1/2 gold spacer, then a larger spacer that is taperd towards top which seems to work with my steeda CC plates.
just want to make sure this is correct
also another question is i drove it and i realize i need to bump them up some in height since its bottoming out some. right now i have the car sitting from ground to fender lip 25 5/8"....what is the typical height from a fox?
also noticed well driving it seems that hte coilovers are clunking when turning. i heard this sound before when i had my cavailer when the bearings for the struts were bad. but is the sound im hearing from the coils being set to low? or did i put the top of the coilovers together incorrectly?
also how much clearance do most ppl ahve betwen their tires and the coilovers? i have 235/55/16s and it seems to rub slightly. i eye balled my alignment for now
all help would be appreciated
