I am going to get this 390 stroker running right. It is hard to do because of the trips. The motor is a 390 stroked to a 417, mild cam, Edelbrock Performer RPM heads, Shelby roller rockers, Tri power. I am going to put the carbs back on (I rebuilt), time it and adust every thing. Should be fun. :thmbsup:

A buddy of mine got a 64 with a 390/401 horse with trips and a 4 speed, I think it was a border patrol car or somthing.

Getting 1 carb dialed in isn't bad....

Getting 2 dialed in is hard

I think it needs an MSD box......Keeps killing spark plugs every 30 miles.
