Yeah, really doesn't look all that bad. At least there's no calculus involved in there :goodidea:

haha, actually, there is quite a lot of calculus "behind the scences." This instance is a continuous distribution, therefore most of those symbols' values are found using integrals and often double integerals (the various different A's and a's as well as E[] functions). The discrete version doesn't use integrals, but uses infinite sum fuctions that would require a good knowlege of Calc III to slove. Haha, i can show ya some good calculus if i must... lol, but i'll spare the rest of the crowd. What is shown on the sheet is rediculously easy... its just formulas and addition - but its the internals of the formulas and the normal distribution approximation that are the real "fun."

Same here, fresh install of Vista. XP was running my labtop hardware something fierce, so Im now back to Vista, and it runs 30 celcius cooler :hyper:
