actually very happy with the et's the car made. Best run was 13.533@ 100.62 with a 1.902 60'. It is very consistant. The only run it varied more than a few 100th's was the one where I accidentally shifted into OD when I went for second and it caused it to shift to third early. That worst run was only 13.613 @ 100.05 so it's pretty predictable.

Saw that last run. That was your best, wasn't it? Very consistant all night. Well, I guess you did have an hour and a half cool down time between every run. Good ole PRP. Looked good!

Did you have the White and Orange Z-28? Wish I'd of known you were from here! I did meet Slow01GT up there last night (I hope that's the right screen name).

My best ET:

12.937 @ 109.21 MPH with a 60' time of 1.837. Not bad, for that run was the 3rd run I've ever done in a stick shift.

Thats the right SN. That was him and I was with him. Your car impressed the hell out of me. It was running good all night. Didn't think the Non PI had it in her. Looked good man!

Performance improved, referring to the heads and intake.

Ford had two 4.6's, the 96-98 4.6 and the 99-04 4.6. the 99-04 was considered PI 4.6's because they had the performance improved heads and intake that flowed much better then its predecessor. They also had some other small differences as well. A lot of people will swap out the heads and intake on the non-PI motors and get a little bump in compression. I thought that you might have done that but wasn't sure. Either way, you had some nice times.

Non PI cars are the 96-98 gt's, PI's are 99-04. PI stands for Power Improved intake and heads on the later 4.6's. The non-PI heads and intake are very restrictive compared to the PI's. On a side note, your car really impressed me as well.

And those years where not all Fords. I think most of the other fords live Crown Vics swiched later. I had a 99 Crown Vic P-71. It had non PI F6 heads (96).
