IM really trying to find out what type of tires to run on my lightning . Cant see buying goodyear at our price of 290.00 apiece. running . p295/45zr18. hate those tires any suggestions. thanks alot hope someone can help.

nitto 555r drag radials 305-45-18 very low miles $300...pm if interested

I run those in a 335/30/18 and have had great luck. I still can't launch hard on them, but they are excellent on the street.

What are you L guys doing for regular street tires? I was helping RPMS look for tires and Goodyear is the only company that makes anything in that size and they are like he said $300 a tire. That's rediculous!

Is there another size street tire that will fit the stock rim and would be a little more reasonable in price?

There are other tire companies out there that make that size. Call Marsh Tire in Charleroi and have them get you a price. (724) 483-8861

Bill (How Much) on here works there and may be able to check for you as well.

i sold a guy with a lightning at set of Hankook rh06 tires... he really likes them! i think that i got him a killer deal at 550-600... cant remember exactly.
