Hey Everyone,
Visited the vintage gp yesterday and besides watching an ac cobra lead most of the afternoon trans-am race and finally being won by a gt 350 shelby(yes!) I had the pleasure of meeting Jim (FX-man) and getting an awesome ride on the autocross course in his wipple charged 2003 cobra! What a blast!!! I need a car I can beat on now. Thanks Jim!....LOL
My first car was a 1970 White mach 1, 4-speed with shaker hood scoop. I sold it about 8 years ago to someone in Washington, Pa. I think. It had a 1969 428 cobra jet in it when I sold it, but it came from the factory with a 4v cleveland. Purchased the car on vacation in north carolina when I was 18 from a guy that worked in junior johnsons engine shop. Every police officer in western pa. knew me :) Wonder where the car is now?
Owned many other mustangs including a black 1979 4 banger for a winter car, grey 1987 gt, red 1988 gt to replace my totaled 87, jade green 91 lx I sold to a guy in wexford that autocrossed it for years I heard, 93 teal cobra #2480 I just sold at the butler auto auction and is currently for sale on ebay, and my newest mustang purchase is a 2007 shelby gt 500.
I've been a collector of diecast cars for about 18 years and have a bunch of mustangs in various forms and sizes fron over the years. Recently I have slowed down on the hot wheels and diecast collecting to search for old electric slot cars, mostly the aurora tjets and afx cars. I have also been having alot of fun racing them. I have a custom made track I just purchased that can be seen on my web site. My other passion is collecting guns....BANG!
I own a restaurant and lounge in Mars, Pa. called "Good Ole Uncle Bob's" located right off route 228 on the corner of mars-valencia rd., across from 7-11, so if you want to stop and shoot the breeze about mustangs or toys I will buy "yinz" a beer.
