Monday Sept 3 2007...Reg 9-12:30...Show Ends At 4:00...$10.00 Donation...
This show is different in the sense of its awards but it is HUGE! They had 590 cars last year. A few restauraunts in the area and I hear they have added quite a few more stores. If your familiar with the area it is not to far from Wheeling Island. Not walking distance but it give you a landmark.
150 awards and 500 dash plaques for those who collect them or care!
This would be a great place to have a SCS get together...throw it around and maybe some of you can make it!
I put this one on the calender already so Im going for sure...maybe start planning a caravan from somewhere?

As it gets closer Ill keep checking to see who may want to ride down and check it out...
Try and get a few SCS to cruise up together...even if you all do not want to show...
I plan on staying for the whole thing again like I did last year.

How about a meet at Willowbrook Plaza? It's 3-4 miles north of 70 on Rt. 51. Does everyone know Rt. 51?

It's on Rt. 51 in Belle Vernon, couple miles North of the 70/51 exit.
Edit: The total trip from the Plaza to Dallas Pike is just over 50 miles.

I went to Cal U so I figured you were around that area when you said Rt51 and 70...
I would just meet up with you from Washington Pa. most likely...it would be about 15 mins back-tracking for me but well worth it to cruise in with you guys. Gonna try and talk my neighbor up the street to take his Stang this year...

Then if you'll be in Washington, should we all pull off of 70 into the Walmart in Washington?
Edit: It looks like it's Exit 15.
Edit2: No, sorry. It's Exit 19.

If that works for you! I can be at all of the Wash Pa exits relatively quickly so whatever works as an easy landmark for you guys!
Maybe Dan from down in Wheeling and the other gentleman from up in Wierton will be going?
Maybe they will notice this post...if not Ill PM them too!

Where were you parked? Did you see me by any chance? There were alot of nice cars like you said. Don't really recall all the Mustangs though!
I was the only Teal 93 Cobra there...

Since I'm in Wheeling, don't have an excuse not to go. A buddy of mine went last year and loved it.

Just trying to see who all is still planning on coming?
Maybe some one could put a list together and see where everyone is coming from?
If enough people from WV were gonna go, we could meet up down our way and hook up with the Uniontown area folks right off the Cabella's exit and cruise in together?
Right only three from WV are me, 05sonicblue, and buddy of mine up the street with his 91 GT...
How many still coming from down Uniontown, California, Belle Vernon?

Head count time?
My neighbor and I will probably be leaving early...what time do those who plan on coming think they will be getting down there? Ill wait outside the show so I can park with you...or Ill just move my car too...as long as your there early there is a ton of room...
Like someone else said there are a ton of restaurants and such around it...maybe we can meet at one of them to make sure we can all park together?

Any pics? I wish I would have went. I had my cars out today and had someone stop and offer a very significant amount of money for one of my old cars. I built this one with my Father years ago…..not for sale.

I forgot to take my camera :hissyfit:
It really was a huge show and I'd recommend it to everyone next year. It was only 60 minutes from my house (just past the airport) and probably only 45 from the 79/60 interchange
Dave's cobra was sweet. :woot1:
and his friends GT, well that was spotless. Only has 2700 miles and is a 91 or 92. Absolutely MINT condition :pepper:
