How wise or unwise would it be to run a 125 wet N20 kit without a pro.tune? I figure I can run colder plugs and pull the timing back. Any sugestions?

Seems reasonable to put in a colder plug, pull 3 deg of timing, and put it on the dyno to check a/f and detonation.

$60 for 3 power pulls with a/f at hybrid dynamics IIRC.

On your Notch you will be fine as long as you have it jetted correctly and a 255 pump to go along with the colder plugs.

make sure your fuel pump is up to par, back off the timing to about 10* and have fun. i had the notch setup for 125. i was going to set timign at 10* and toss in a 255 and that was it.

nos states 2degrees for every 50 hp of Nos...so 5 degrees will do, nx states 3-4degrees for every 50hp...definitally colder plugs to be safe, what heads??

E7s for now. What if they where better heads, what would the scenario be?

better heads are akways better, but the only reason i was asking was to try and reccomend a plug, i would use the autolite 23 plug:awsome: also, i asked what heads because that would help me judge compression/flow/heat dissapation/etc...

not that im saying u should do this but i sprayed my 91 gt with a 125 shot from a nos dry kit with a stock intank pump with base timing set at 14 degrees with autolite 24's and didnt have a problem again all cars are different so i would say a safe set up would be a 255 pump and base timing set at 12* with 23's

If I where to put a set up on this similar to my coupe. Trick Flow top end. What would you suggest? I’m not sure what route to go with this car.

Thanks for your help!
