I have searched this site and others and read alot about running an oil catch can with forced induction. I have a 02 gt with 2v(302 stroker) and a kb 2.2. I have not noticed any real issue with blow by but have thought about running a catch can just to be safe before I have any issues with oil in the intake. The way my car is setup i have the pcv on ps and just a breather on the d.s.. The car was tuned with it this way and runs fine. Anyway in my searching thru the site i have read about the pcv pre-filters and the andair check valve which i am also looking into. My real question is to find out what everyone is running for catch cans or oil seperators. I know some folks use the air compressor water seperators and i have also found some different catch cans on line. I will list links to a couple i have looked at. Also if some of you folks could post up pics of where you installed yours it would be great. Just looking for ideas to decide what I want to do. Here are a couple links for what i have looked at:

I don't know about a 15 buck oil can. You really do get what you pay for, and I have a feeling that after a few holeshots or highway trips you'll still have oil on the intercooler/lower intake manifold.

I used an L&S Automotive for about 2 years, and my IC was still silver after 2 summers at the track, and over 30K miles. It's not the prettiest, but it works! It recirculates from PCV back to the fill tube, so it's not so much a catch can as a recirculator. And it is maintenance free. Lots of Lighntings running them with no complaints.

I switched to the Accurate Macine Works (or Accurate Machine Tech..website is down now) can last year. Much better looking in the bay, lots of mounting options (wanted mine on the firewall - not on the plenum/IAC mount) and 4 colors. I had to tear everything down to the intake manifold last week, and the IC was still squeaky clean. I still need to upgrade the cheap rubber lines with braided steel and nice clamps.

I run an oil separator for an air compressor on my notch. I have no oil in my intake.

I really like the ACM can. I've narrowed it down to either the ACM or Mckinneys race works.

http://www.mckinneyraceworks.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=79

They both look like quality pieces and seem to have about the same design as far as function. The Mckinney one is about $80 or so less. Doesn't come with a drain valve, bottom of can twist off, but I emailed them and they said they would add a plug in the bottom at no charge.
