Since retiring, I have taken up a hobby of collecting racing memorabilia and collectibles from the mid 80's and older.Anyone have anything for sale or know of anyone who does? Drag racing, dirt track, motorcyle, etc...

Welcome old dude. I thought I was the only one on this site, class of 69. I have been around race cars almost all my life, and still get it on. You should check out Pittsburgh Raceway Park this Sunday. Don Garlits will be there and the old PID Reunion and vintage drags. I have about 150 Diecast cars all are 1/24 scale and are Nascar type. All have boxes and are in excel. shape. Make me an offer!!!!

Welcome. We got a few Harley's on here. I try to do all my dealings with Highland's down your way. They are great people to deal with.

Class of '69..well I still have ya beat; not by much!!
I was at the PID reunion. As a matter of fact my wife and I had the repop PID t's for sale along with the embroidered Dickies. I see you avator is a dirt track modified. You race dirt? When? Where? When I wasn't at PID, Keystone, Eldora-Fairmont, or Hagerstown drag racing, I spent time at Jennerstown Speedway. How about some info?...Diecast?...too new for this oldtimer...Thanks anyway. I'll pass the for sale onto a collector.

i bought the bike new from Z & M. i had them throw my pipes, air filter, forward controls and the fuel pak on prior to delivery. after i got the bike home i pulled the baffles, the bike is ok but it think i could run a little better. BoneCrusher was very pleased with his results after having his Deuce dyno tuned at Hylands so im going to give them a shot at it. as far as service goes, i have had no luck anywhere and im extremely unhappy with Z & M. i have heard nothing but good things about Hylands so im going to try and make it down there asap:yes:

Hey Old Timer, Yea we ran dirt for a few years. Started with a semi late then a modified then to a late model. Ran at the old Latrobe speedway,Motordrome,Lernerville,Jennerstown and a few big races in the tri-state area. The Mod. was my favorite, that badass was fun. Tobias chassis with a worked over 428, Franklin quick change,4 spd, and a hand clutch. As you can tell we ran about 5 yrs. in the mid 70's and ran out of money as cost started to go nuts. Did Drag racing also and still do it with the kid(sonic03snake) Look forward to meeting ya,,,,,,

Highland HD in my mind is the best in western PA. I might be biased because I worked there for a short while, but everyone that deals in Harley's, Buells or Polaris are always extremely pleased. I don't think you would ever find a better deal else where.
