The only two I'd go with on the street are AJE or PA K-members. I have a QA-1 on my 88LX and it's lighter, so its more for drag racing and not street. One downside of the two K-members is they are more pricey than the QA-1. I went with the AJE road race one on my 00GT since it's more of a street car. Now if money is no object Maximum Motorsports makes one that is designed for road racing and street use. The only down side is it's expensive (over a grand), and it's not as light as typical aftermaket K-members.

I use my Q-a1 on the street with no ill effects.

Colin,
Team Z Motorsports is now making k-members setups. From PA Racings jigs...
The Kits include the k member, a arms and a coil over kit for $699.
Dave Zimmerman / Team Z makes great things, all of which are made from moly. He is currently installing a cage and full suspension in my car. And I had his suspension in my red car as well.
I had a QA1 on my red coupe and there were some things that I did not like about it.
Give Dave a call before you decide, he has a wealth of knowledge on mustangs. 734-789-9540

I realize this isn't an actual k-member however I do have a maximum motorsports k-member brace for a fox body if anyone is in the market for one.

Great idea. Dave is a great with customer service and my car is up there right now as well. His jigs and K-member are now improved over other designs. He ordered a K-member for my car and ended up cutting it up/reworking it to get it to the point he wanted it that he has now started making his own. Search my intro forum post for some pics of his work.

Yup. I won them for 15. Just paid. I already have the matching rears so the GT will now sit nice! Great - I am lowering my winter car.
