You better stay off the radar Ed. If you MAIL-ORDER a few more of these items, the feds will show up with tanks and burn down your compound.

Damn! I'm getting old. I was thinking of David Koresh (sp?) and the Branch Davidians in Waco, TX. circa 1993 ??? :innocent:

I wish you could mail order this stuff. Instead I get to pay the ATF $200 and send them 2 more sets of fingerprints before I'll be allowed to have it. I ordered it under my buddy's Class III FFL, so it will have to stay logged in his books untill my transfer from the ATF goes through.

Do you have to pay them and send fingerprints with each purchase?

Yes. Each Class III Firearm is handled that way and you have to pass the same ATF Background Check for each one as well. If I ever sell it, the person buying it will have to pay the $200 and send the fingerprints as well.

When I bought my 1st Supressor, the process took about 3 months. The ATF has made some changes to speed up the process to now take a little less than a month.

I think someone's been watching too much Discovery Channel. I've been seeing the commercials for that for the past couple of weeks now.

You should be out practicing your driving instead of watching the damn TV! You're gonna need your skillz honed. :biglaugh:

Hell, I'm lucky I've had any time to even watch TV lately. I'll get all the practice I need on my drive to the track unlike you who will be sitting at home.

Last time I checked, the Parts Department wasn't open till 10 p.m.

Eddie, you are big hat, no cattle. That means all talk, no action, since I need to explain it to you. :p

Last time I checked, the Parts Department wasn't open till 10 p.m.

I work until 5:15 or so. It's 1 1/2 hours drive away for me at rush hour on that torn up, shit hole of a road they call 22. I am not coming to the track just to rush my ass off, pay too much, and probably only get 2 runs in if I am lucky, before the gamblers racing starts at 8:30 PM. Last track rental we attended I got about 8 runs in and it ran only $30.

Remember when you scatter parts on the track you need to pay an extra $25! Good luck Eddie. LOL

I was just wondering because I remember you having a supressor on a .22 a few years ago.

Well, I guess I'm still in good standing with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives. My transfer came back last week that I sent in early December for my .45 Silencer I bought. Now I have 2 different Pistol Silencers, .22lr and .45ACP! :woot1:
