Here is the next victim in my T3 durability testing ;) It a normal .63 turbine / .60 compressor T3. Upgraded with 360 race bearing and stagger gap turbine seal. It also has a mild clip on the turbine wheel, and it is balanced.

We will see how well this one holds up to my abuse. If anyone is looking to have a turbo rebuilt, or custom made, look up Charlie at Evergreen turbo. He absolutely went out of his way to get this done right for me, and all at a reasonable price. He also sent all the gaskets for the install with it too.

Turbo is bolted to the car, I need to make some changes to my outlet since I've destroyed all my hose outlet housings and need to go to the old non intercooled flange style. This also messes with my inlet, so I'm converting to the GN straight style and will have to replumb my VAM too.

Looks good Bob....where you pushing the old turbines out the compressor side from too much backpressure?

Thanks everyone.

Hopefully we get to see it run Saturday Bob.

Lets hope, still got some work to do and still waiting on the new BOV. I'm REALLY hoping to hit the box / no box race Friday as a test and tune anyway.

Not really from backpressure. All of the compresser pressure tries to push that wheel through the back of the housing, that makes the turbine problems show up. This turbo has a 360 race thrust bearing in it, that should help the situation. I didnt want the clip, he talked me into it as a little experiement. Even he didnt think it would change much with the small compressor wheel, but we are trying something else ;) Add to all of that the intake volume and it likes to break shafts too.

Turbo was $350.00 for the upgraded CHRA with a used turbine housing and oulet elbow. This was a pretty good hook-up to be honest.

www.evergreenturbo.com or better yet 1-800-275-2531. Talk to Charlie, and tell him you talked to me ;) The website sucks, and he isnt much for e-mail, but will talk you through anything on the phone. I think the only reason he has a website is so that you can paypal him through there :)
