Some might call me a hillbilly, some might not. Tell ya what, it was a freaking blast!!! Diesel power is amaxing with the right stuff done to it. The first two are my buddy Shaun with the '01 F-250 7.3. The Dodge was just cool and the last two are the big dogs. The first one had 3 turbos. Turned down his first run because it was 2 feet from a full pull. On his second run, that mother effer blew the phuck up!!! I am talking block parts flying and head parts flying!!! The whole front of the tractor basically blew apart!!!! I woulda got some more shots but there is something wrong with the camera and I dont know what it is.

That was my first time. It was the coolest thing ever. We dont get that kind of cool stuff in the big ole city. Those trip turbo diesel's sound awesome. Almost like a jet plane taking off. I wonder what kind of boost they are running. I know the F-250 of Shauns puts up a little less than 30psi. I can vouch that. He says it has more too. The pyrometer was showing some high temps last week though.

Ask him 'bout the red tractor at the end of that class when you see him. The explosion was a sight to see. I was waiting for parts to land on me. HAHAHA Poor guy was pissed as hell too. Kinda lost his temper with a helper. I wonder what those things cost to build.

I'm assuming more than an 04 Cobra motor!!!! I hope he had his video camera with him...

HAHA I am sure you can probally build 20 of those for the cost of that. The announcer guy was saying that they are required to have cables and a cage around the engine for instances like that. The cables help keep things together when the head lifts off the block. In this case, shit just went flying every which way.

They blow smoke about 150 feet in the air!! Pretty awesome.

HAHAHAHA that Dodge broke something motorwise too. He was breaking up real bad on the top end. Pulled off track and it was popping and blowing whiteish/grayish smoke. Putting out some cool clouds from the 8" straight stacks he had too.

Well, what is it? What causes it? I usually shoot with the dial on the green camera. When I took the first 4, the dial was on something else. Those pics came out so-so. I just dont know what it was on.

I usually us Program Auto...which is the Capital P and it takes a better pic, but you mostly have to make sure you are completely still! Hahaha, its a pain really. I love sony, but the camera seems too sensitive. It is amazing the detail on the zoom once you've taken the pic though.

I'da called ya but it was a spur of the moment thing. That dude you met over here the one day, Bill. He called me about half an hour after you left and said Shaun was pullin'. Asked if I wanted to go. Said WTF, might as well. Are there anymore fairs in the area that will be having this kind of show this year?

When I take a pic, it shows a hand with a triangle in it. Like a warning symbol. It never took blurry pics before. I cant figure it out now. When I put it on the P, it says "capturing".

Does it say this camera will self destruct in 10, 9, 8, 7,....hahaha just kidding....that symbol shows on mine if I don't press the button down all the way.:goodidea: Make sure your pressing it down all the way, and hold it for a moment....when did you get your camera?

the hookstown fair is sweet. 2 years ago couple of my friends and i made a dd car. it was 90 crown vic taxi. they light on the top still worked but they made us take it off. for some reason we let the moron of the group wire the fuel pump and the wiring came off about halfway through.

Diesels are NO JOKE!!
My buddy has a 04 dodge diesel, w/ only a fuel pump, exhaust, and Smarty programmer, and he laid down 495 rwhp & 906 rwtq W/ 35psi of boost.
Diesels, w/ upgraded motors run upwards of 100 lbs. of boost!!!

Nice man, I haven't been to a truck pull in forever. Let us know if there's another one coming up anytime soon. Not sure why, but my favorites are the street trucks. I like seeing what some everyday rides can do.

Holy shit!!!!!!!!!!!! From seeing the smoke shoot that high and the whistle it made, thats probally what it was. They puff white smoke until they start loading up and building boost, let off the brake and look out. Wheels up terrorizing run for 300'.

the blurring has to do withthe night time picture, shutter speed, and you shaking. try using a tripod or mess with the setting. my kodak will do the same thing when i use the nighttime setting without a tripod.
