i did..the closest one id in allison ohio...not bad price 22000 with 45000 miles but i didnt want to drive that far 140miles....thats why i was wondering bout that one at woltz and wind but its not on there site online

Morrow Ford here in Beaver Falls (where i live) had a Red Convert with only 400 miles on it. They were asking $35,000 for it. It was bone stock and perfect. I don't know if they still have it.

lots for sale id stay away from a dealer they will rip you on your trade most likely. Unless you know the sales manager then stay with a private owner and with a private owner you can tell how it was treated I am sure that one with 45000 miles had some hard ones.

yeah its just that i got the 01 in june so i need a dealer to give me as much as possible for my trade...iam gona look at the one at woltz and wind..its white..full saleen logos..body kit...window banner..wheels new perilli tires...not a scratch to be found...its a vert too...the only way you cold tell it wasnt a saleen was the seats had the cobras on them..and the window sticker said 03 cobra...and it listed a shit load of aftermarket parts:thumbsup: ..what you guys think iam not a big fan on the whole body kit thing but its a 03 and its close to me like 45 min

they did convert some cobras into saleens they are rare as hell and I am sure pricey but I think you were able to order a saleen that was originally an 03 or 04 cobra instead of a gt.

no shit?..well it has everything saleen it says 281 supercharged...the hood is same to the 03 cobras and seats are too..its also a 6 speed..whats so diff from them and a regular 03 cobra?

they got racecraft suspension and body kit graphics im pretty sure it has all svt stuff on it and the saleen adds on top of that liek emblems all say svt and saleen. The guy who owner hackers helpers on 51 had a 98 cobra saleen it was sick.

well ive decided to try and get it...but if its a real saleen cobra..i was googlein' it and there was only 12 verts made in 2003 so i wonderin what the price tag would look like..and if it just a 03 svt how much should i pay

I did some searchin and found out there were saleen cobras built with termi bodies. apparently you had to order the saleen through an svy dealership and they would handle it with saleen they are pretty rare

a few of my buddies work for the woltz and wind parts dept and that car is sick as hell i seen it driving to the dealership i was fillin up my stang it sounded pretty mean i believe my buddy said they want 29k it has only 10k miles he said.

supposedly a state trooper traded it in. it's a cobra w/500+hp at the rear wheels. got $25k for his trade and W&W wants $39k I believe!!! That's a rip off!

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that the reason he wants to stay with a dealership is b/c theres not a single bank or credit union out there that will finance 19 y.o. for that kind of money (if at all)...

I'd also suggest that before you go buying something and getting ur hopes up, look into the insurance for it.. Theres gonna be a huge insurance difference b/w a slow '01 cobra, and a much quicker '03 cobra

lmao...well no..ive owned o 99 v6 stang..traded it in july of 06 for a zinc yellow 03 gt...traded that for a 2001 trans am ws6 in november then just got the cobra in july because i love stangs...and to be blunt about it i dont have any prob with banks financing me or insurance my insurance on the 01 is 309 a mth thats without a ticket or acc...and for being 19 i make around 40000 a year so i think ill be just fine but thanks for the concern:rofl:

WOW!!! You've got to be so upside down in that 01 Cobra. $309 a month for insurance??? Is that a misprint? I don't pay that much for full coverage on 4 cars, one of them being a 03 Cobra Vert. I'd suggest shopping your insurance around.

I really think any dealer is going to hammer you on the trade value because of the flames.

no its rite..and thats with a safe driver dicount i just got..it was like 335.00 a mth...the ls1 tans was 390.00...the cheapest was the gt it was like 289.00..i called about the 03 cobra..they want 29000..they wanna give me 15000 for the 01..my insurance would be round 377.00 a mth.

Because most people they will sell to do not want a custom paint job, let alone flames all over the front. My guess is that your car will go straight to auction and sell for wholesale. The dealer will not want to sit on it.

haha, i have no concern, i could care less -

what do banks finance you at? 10%? 12%? imho, that's a problem - that means they feel they're taking on a HUGE risk by giving you that kinda money - 10K, 40K or 80K, you still have no credit history at that age... and switching cars every few months doesnt look so hott to the bank either...

and i agree with Ed, 309 a month is rediculous... I don't pay that much for 2 Trans Am's, and i have 1 accident and more tickets than i care to spell out.... and i pay 203 a month ...

Hit up Gallina Insurance in Kirwin Heights (or Bridgeville - not sure what the addy there would be) ... he has found me rates for my cars at about half what every other agent i called wanted. And i called everyone i could find!

Just a FYI, when I was 21, my insurance on my Viper was only $1,600 a year for full coverage. That was thru Erie Insurance and a few years ago, I switched to State Farm and got even better rates from them.

dam thats some high rates all my insurance wrapped up may be that amount and thats the lightning with full an 07 escape with full 94 f150 liability a brand new house and my wifes insurance on her diamonds and thats with state farm. Now adays they run credit checks to give insurance quotes and im sure your credit sucks switchin cars so many times. On another note I like dealing with c harper my father in law is good buddies with mark the sales manager and we always buy with x plan and he gives great deals on ou trades.

I agree, do a shortblock and a power adder and you will have one fast car, plus those 4 valves are capable of putting out big numbers without any head, cam or intake work:yes:
