US crap ways!!! No wonder they are going under. First of all, they cant keep flights, shitty service, and now this. Wasting money for a nonsence paint job.:thmbsup: Way to go US Air.

LOL going under is wrong. One of the most profitable airlines.

Service sucks on all airlines after 9-11.

Jeese, not around here. HAHAHA Its on the news almost everyday. My neighbor, the mayor, worked for them for about 25 years, got let go. Still has free flights though. All you here here on the local news is how bad they are doing, when the next cut backs are so on and so on. How they lost record amounts of money last quarter.

USeless Airlines. In thier effort to become a player, all they have done is run off the reliable customoers (us that travel for bussinees). I havent flown them in a long time, if I have to make a connection via another city to get where I'm going, I might as well pick another airline. Stange, but I've been flying a lot of United lately.

i could be wrong but i think thats just in pittsburgh. other hubs are still doing fine

I know whats going on being I fly a jet for them.
Pittsburgh is a ghost town and never deserved to have a major hub with the high cost that the county inflicted on them. The airline was used as a cash cow for the county. Now the airport has nothing. No other airlines are moving into PIT either due to the inability to profit out of the airport with a large number of flights.

We had a $263 Million dollar profit last quarter. Hardly a record loss.

wow, then they are up near the profit of our lab, since it brings in over 1 mill a day.

I agree with the waste of money on the paint job. They needed to use it towards the service.

the airline industry is doing super right now. And all airlines are actually so far in debt that no one will have be in the plus EVER!!!!!!! we talk about 10k for a motor try about 10 million for some of those turbines.. Us airways is actually one of the most profitable companies out there.. I learn about this stuff everyday at school if anyone is wondering how i know.. HEHE

All the east airplanes will be painted due to the merger. It is a cost of doing business. When you have a theme plane that promotes an organization there is always a financial reason for putting their name on the aircraft.

I dont really have a prolbem with american west or not us airlines. I have flown them before over to burbank ca and up to san jose can and sacermento ca. But i love to fly southwest, the employees (at least out of phx) are super nice the flight attendence are great very funny..that is my airline. Ther

Yeah, see for people like you and I, we need to purchase two seats just to sit semi-comfortalby. My leg hardly fits in the seat, let alone my big 'ole 250 lb ass. Just terrible service, they charge you for everything now. Just wait, soon they will have a dollar maching outside the bathroon. $5.00 to get the door open, $5.00 to get the seat up, $5.00 for the sink, $2.50 for the water and $2.50 for the towel you use to dry your hands. If you are in there for more than the alloted 5 minutes, you will have to slide another $10.00 to get the door open just to re-turn to your seat.
