Stick with the basics! A ranger roller frees up a little Hp & porting the intake is worth a few Hp.
With a Big Valve head and a little home porting and 25+ lb your in the 350 Hp zone..

"Did some rough tuning today on the dyno, ran out of time and ice. Also put a FAT crack in my fancy header...yay.

Results were 511hp at the wheels. 28-30# boost. Torque was similar.

Still stock 95,000 mile shortblock, cast iron D port head."

Yank the wire off the overboost solenoid and be done with that noise. Get a gauge and crank the boost, life begins at 20 psi with these things, 25 psi is sweet with a stock T-3, but you better be cranking the fuel into it too :D

You are pretty safe to about 21 psi without getting to radiacal with a big front mount like mine. If you have the dual pump setup you should be okay at that level, if its an 86 with the single in tank, get a 255 HP pump. Remember you are referencing an extra PSI of fuel for each pound of boost, and you NEED to keep up on both flow and pressure at these levels ;)

the car has a new intank pump i just am hoping its a 255 it also has an adj. reg too ,my next things i need i guess are boost and fuel pressure gauges .i had the vovlo intercooler checked to 20 psi so i'll try that , i have a bigger front mount to try but it wil require removing the front bumper to put it on  then comes the holset hy35

I'm finally back home from China now, got a set of 55's for mine and a TwEECer to adjust the PE. I am hoping to get it all in this week, and be at all three days this weekend at PRP. Going ot yank the front sway bar, and throw the other springs in, and see what she will do.

Do not assume on that pump. You are going to need 59#'s of fuel pressure minimum to keep up at 20 psi (39 base + 20 rise), and still maintain the flow. Put a gauge on that sucker and go for a ride. At 21 psi, I needed to run 45 base just to keep it sane. At 25 #'s I'm running 50 base right now, and its still lean.

ok i'll do that i'll pull the tank this week and see what the pump is for sure thats why i have left the boost alone for now "previous owner had it set there with a gillis valve " til i know for sure whats in the the tank.
