It's Back (I hope)

Went to the Friday tnT, made a pile of passes, car was running 21 PSI, ran a bunch of 12.70's, best was a 12.69. Car is finally launching pretty good ;) This was all at 21 psi versus the 25 I was running before all the turbo problems. This turbo is basically the same as what was on there except a clipped turbine wheel.

Went racing Saturday, air was pretty good, but we only ran 1/8th mile. Car went a 7.86 at 86.57 with a 1.71 60'. This equals my best 1/8th mile time with less boost (still 21 psi). Other passes were in that same leuge (7.87, 7.88, etc). Went a few rounds until I pulled it out of 1st gear on the line.

Anyway, I'm happy its running decent again.

My old junkyard short block (bone stock), and a ranger roller, a big valve head and that's about it.

wow... makes me want to reconsider the ole 2.3 with a garrett dbb turbo and some headwork

Thqanks everyone for the Comments! Hopeflully going to try Test and Tune Wednesday to get some more passes on it and up the boost a little ;)

Mark - I am going to work the boost back up to 25. I have been so snake bit lately, I just said I wasnt going to touch anything but launch RPM and tire pressure last weekend to get some solid runs in. The problems I was having really had nothing to do with boost level, just some bad parts, and a little detail that bit me.

Me too, your's really runs nice too. I wish the air was better Friday, we could have seen what they would really run. Everyone I talked to was off a good bit then. It was pretty decent air Saturday.
