Its time to start planning for our 3rd annual SCS holiday party, we need to figure out a date and the location. We can't have it at Bella Lunas this year, we were at full capacity last year and we have grown quite a bit since then. Im thinking we should rent a hall and have it catered, any ideas?

Cool Lou. If we have it anywhere around Murrysville/Monroeville/Greensburg I know some good catering places that pretty are reasonable.

i already came up with an idea! this might be a long shot with pricing and all but you can rent the upstairs above tequilla willie or whatever the hell that place is called. pittsburgh is central for many, my buddy had his wedding reception there, it's pretty big. they have there own wait staff and food too...just a suggestions to get the ball rolling

What about renting on of the rooms at Dave and Busters? It'd be fun for all ages, the rooms are reasonable, and we can do some legal racing in the arcade! Years ago my wife and I had our rehearsal dinner there and it was a blast.

People under 21 can get into D&B if its a part of a party like this?? I don't ask for me, b/c i'm 22, but my g/f is 20... usually you need someone over 25 or something like that to get in if you're under 21

I get $10 of free game play for every $10 of game play purchased... I'll try to find out what the limit on this is... If its unlimited (which i doubt) then I can get everyone that deal...

I didn't know D&B had any type of age requirement. Although i'm old.:tongue: It does sound like a great idea, I don't want to exclude any of our younger members though.

Per D&B website;

http://www.daveandbusters.com/uploadedImages/pgtitle_housepolicypg.gif
Designated smoking. Under 18 year old guests must be accompanied by their parent or a guardian 25 years of age or older. (6 minors to 1 adult maximum).

What needs to be shown to prove one is a guardian? I would be glad to chapparone one of our younger female members.:Devious:

I haven't figured it out yet. I think D&B is a little too expensive and they do have an age restrictions after a certain hour. Besides that, this is a get together and having it there will basically spread everyone out after we eat. I like the fire hall idea too. Im going to post a poll to see how many are considering going so we have an idea of how big of an area we need.

Lou if you have any questions about the hall call me or PM 2002Luxurysport. The hall is huge and 2002Luxurysport runs the joint for the most part. We can get it for a great price and maybe have it catered? There is a ton of parking and I bet we could even have a fire outside? Great family atmospher! It is close to my house so half the people on here will know how to get there lol!:thmbsup:
