header wrap on midpipe??

ok so going to go with the mac longtubes ceramic coated, then spray them with high temp spray and then wrap them in heat wrap. my question is can you wrap a midpipe in header wrap or will it get messed up or something crazy like that? thanks

The biggest problem I've seen with header wrap is trapping moisture. It's okay on a race car but, I don't recommend on a DD street car. You could have a local shop coat the x-pipe if you're concerned about heat.

so header wrap is bad for dd? its just i was going to get a vrs xpipe and its not stainless steel so i was thinking of wrap but i thought the header wrap was always good an everyone usually did them?
