I made the haul out to Thompson raceway park today and ran a new best of 13.33@102.90. Now I need to get a stall in this thing and see what it will do.

Pretty much just bolt-ons and gears. The engine is stock and it still has the factory manifolds on it.

Great Job!
I live near Mars and was wondering why you went so far to run near Cleveland?

Thompson takes just a little longer to get to than PRP with the traffic on 22. Plus the track is ran alot better than PRP.

Over the past few years I have run a little better at thompson than I do at PRP, so I try and make it out there once a year. Chugger also nailed it when he said its run much better than PRP. Its about a 2 hour drive but for me its worth it.

Thanks for the info guys. Just trying to learn a little.
I just went to prp for the first time friday night. I was rather upset to find out after I paid they were just running an 1/8 mile. Rt. 22 made things worse. The guy teching cars was an idiot and made a bunch of smart ass comments. Not what I would call a great pr guy for the track....lol
What do you guys think about quaker city? From mars it only takes me about 50-60 minutes to get there.

I went up to PRP on friday night as well but got my money back when i found out it was 1/8 mile. Your car looked good from what i saw. Quaker City is a nice track but from what i hear its a little slower than PRP because its slightly uphill.

I was standing there when the PRP guy (Doug) starting yelling about the track being wet and if you stay in it, yoiu will spin out and he will let you stay there for a while if you wreck, blah, blah, blah. How can you through life being that miserable? In addition, he is representing a business.
BTW, you GT500 is unbelievable! It was running well too! The best time I saw was 7.02 in the 1/8 I think. That is 11.00s in the 1/4. That is awesome!!! :pepper:

I'm running MT ET street radials on waffle wheels. My best 60' was a 1.91. I still have the factory converter so thats really limiting my car right now. Once i get a new converter in it i'm hoping for 1.7's and maybe some high 12's.
