A stock short block huh. A stock short block can't run those kind of numbers;)

Don't doubt it for a minute:veryhappy: Post that on the corral/benchracers*are*us dot net and they will be able to tell you what it would really run and if you didn't tell 'em every little spec they would dis-credit it:laughing::laughing:

But......... its a Pinto :biglaugh:

By the way, just for giggles, 10.58 at 125 at 2200#'s with driver from Wallace calculator.......

Your HP computed from your vehicle MPH is 301.82 rear wheel HP and 335.36 flywheel HP.

My junk with a lowly T3, ranger roller cam, and no juice, and a JY shortblock (12.38 at 112 at 3200#'s)

Your HP computed from your vehicle MPH is 315.79 rear wheel HP and 350.88 flywheel HP.

I need to get mine (and me) on a diet, or into a lighter car ;)

You know Bob, every 100 lbs. or perhaps a little less than 100 lbs.;) is worth a solid MPH It's not hard to get it in the mid 2,600 lbs. It just takes a little $$$ and some dry ice:D

Lol, you obviuosly dont know the tubo Ford crowd very well. We build them out of junk yard parts of course :D Maybe you can persuade MAP into selling his flyweight pinto ;) He has to keep it tethered down or else it blows away, honest, I saw it get blown off the scales one day.

Cool. The Merkur's are quirky cars for sure. I would rock one if it wasnt so much trouble to get ANY type of LSD for the rear. That, and I can't get past the idea of the sway bar holding the front end together, and being held in by 4 well nuts
