....i went out today and fired it up, and it started acting funny so i shut it down, and when i went to try starting it again....it wont....its trying to turnover but who knows? could this have something to do with sitting in the cold and not running for a couple days? thanks alot, clark.

i just got it to start again finally.....the rpms are moving from 700 to 1100 alot and its shaking and rumbling back and forth....it sounds terrible....WTF? any ideas?

nah just the usual CEL from having no cats....im getting so f'in pissed off

Check the line going into your intake that comes off the idle air control valve. it may have some loose.

definitely, the IAC could be a possiblity, but the CEL could still be something else right? Think it'd be a good idea to get a scanner run over it to make sure the cats (or lack thereof) is the only thing setting off the CEL?

She will definitely be able to thaw out those fuel lines IF they're iced up!

did you take anything aftermarket off? i know you were stripping it could have hit a vacuum line or didnt plug something back in all the way.

didnt take anything off yet.....billy is buying my intake...but i just got it started again....it was choppy and a small amount of smoke rolled out from under the hood.....its still running right now and seems to have smoothed out almost to normal.....i dunno

lol im sure ill get some consolation from gina later on........but i just went out after letting it warm up a bit i revved it up to maybe 2 grand and smelled a burning smell.......F***!

well i let it run for awhile.....added some HEET fuel line antifreeze stuff and gave it a nice healthy $45 dose of 93....and she runs like a champ.......thanks for the help everyone i really appreciate it.

yea it was acting up before like late summer and i ripped that off and cleaned it up....it should still be good....(i would hope)

X2.. Both my mod motors needed one. Did the same thing
