After reading Rush's post I think we have similar situations.

Trashy's motor is blown (30#s of compression in 5 and 6). So should I .... spend 4500-5000 on a motor, 1400 on a tranny build, and 300 on a rear build. Bringing the grand total to 6200-6700, and still have "Trashy". Or buy my buddy Adams car ... http://www.horsepowerjunkies.com/forums/showthread.php?t=36969 (http://www.horsepowerjunkies.com/forums/showthread.php?t=36969) If I bought the coupe I would be putting a stock motor back in Trashy and sending it down the road (probably worth 1500 or so to someone hopefully)

Oh it will be serious. That 4500 also includes all parts and pieces needed to convert the car to carb, as well as all the ignition, carb. Plus I just found out if I go the stroker route which I plan on, I need a balancer and flywheel.

I was hoping for around 475-500 crank HP all motor.

well, the 4500 means a new stroker long block, all forged with main girdle, allum heads (your preference) and cam and lifters,and any compression you want...

Tim - I have been waiting for a couple months for your estimate and I figured that you were too busy. I have done alot of homework on this and found out some great information.
