Ok so there's nothing special about them that wouldn't allow me to custom make a setup on my Focus?

Any part/model #s available for those turbos?

The IHI turbos from the 87/88 TC's are about a size bigger than what was used on the turbo Escorts (those guys use these as upgrades). Thesse turbo's are the typical Ford / Garrett inlet bolt pattern, and line up on the exhaust side too, so if you dont like it, an upgrade with Garrett stuff is easy. As has been said, they spool really quick (were designed for a 3800#, 4 cyclinder car). They are limited to about 17 psi as a max efficiency boost. These are also water / oil cooled, and do require the water cooling (the Garretts's you can get away without). Over-all pretty nice little turbo's if you understand their limitations. They are known to live well over 150K on the t-birds.
