I went last year to WFC and I wasn't all that impressed. I had a great time, but I've been to better events that were a lot closer.

im excited about this, the last couple WFC's in stl went down hill from the earlier events. indy was the last and was a total joke from what i heard. gateway is a great facility and having friends there makes it an even more attractive event to get out to...im sure i'll be there with or without a car!

might be worth checking out.

There are a couple of classes I would qualify for depending on how I want to run. Their class that mandates a 30 mile cruise then hotlap 3 qualifying passes would be fun.

If it ends up anything like NMRA, you will need a low 9 second hot lap average to win it. Huber has been cleaning up with his tall deck 2.3, but its a 8.90 car, averaging 9.20-9.30 in that class. There is money for the other averages, but its almost luck to hit those bogeys with the hot lap format.

I bet you would end up dumped into the bracket classes with the rest of us.

Does his car meet the weight requirements, etc?
