What rpm does the factory rev-limiter engage in a P.I. 4.6L (99-04)?

redline is 5,800 in auto and 6,000 in manual

are you sure about this? I think it's 6,250. It's kinda violent when it shuts off and back on, but I've never witnessed 6,500. :sticktonge:

wen my car was stock it would hit around 6100... i've raised it to 6500 now

x2.....there was that one time where i forgot to shift out of second in a rolling race....the sound was pretty bad.....lol

6,250 is correct.
