I am fishing for a complete IRS setup. I want to get an idea of how much they are going for. I don't need one right away but if the price was right I will buy. Trying to piece together a future road racing car.

its in Michigan...but gives an idea of price....thats about what i see them go for all the time. my buddy lucked out and got one for free. 01 cobra owner wanted the solid 8.8 from his 01 Gt and traded him striaght up.

I have seen them for half that price. Also remember that an IRS from a 99-01 is slightly cheaper, but the half-shafts were a little beter in the 03-04's.

Thanks for the information. I will see how serious he is about getting rid of it. I only want the IRS not the rest of his inventory.

Find a drag racer who wants to swap out for your stick axle. Although the stick axle with a 3 link/panhard bar is just about as good.

Hey. I started this thread.
I'll let you know. If I can find a solid 8.8 (mach 1) I'll be taking out the IRS, I have a few people looking for me but it could be next year till I find one.
