Anybody have a diagram of the alternator wires. Any insight appreciated.

Just put some electrical tape over the plugs that you take out of the alternator.

I can get you all the skematics you want...But it is my understanding the Ecc computer is very sensivitive to voltage..there is something called injector offset wich is tunned by loading the battery as much as possible making sure your a/f doesnt change...heck I see some bigtime racers using 2 batteries out back.

just my 2 cents worth..let me know if you need the skematic

oh joe i thought of another trick for you a switch to the field wire after burnout to turn the alt. off hence no drag :pepper: thne back on after the pass to keep the battery up :biglaugh:

joe i have a new powermaster alt if youre htinking of going with one of those instead of the regular ford one

or in your case no alt at all would be solely hard core

Appreciate the offer Quik, but I am all about that hardcore sh$t. So the alternator must retire for a while;)
