Hi folks - I posted about my accident yesterday in the Off-topic section.
http://www.steelcitystangs.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7324
Anyway, once the ins co totals my SHO I'll be looking to buy something to replace it.
Any leads are welcome. Mustangs, SHOs, Marauders, Lincoln Mk VII or VIII, anything really, except I'm not really into GM anything or pickups ( need room for 2 car seats ), and I need something clean with "relatively" low miles. But feel free to post whatever you have.
Thanks!!
Ron

Hey Coral
I don't know much about the LS. Let me know a little more about them - motor - hp - front or rear drive? - traction control? - tranny ( 4 or 5spd auto? ) - whatever you can think of. Throw in some stats on your car - color - options - miles - issues... And top that off with what you'd want for it.
Thanks dude! :awsome:

I just found the thread you posted when you bought the LS. That is a sweet ride! Post or PM me some numbers, plus some of the questions from my post above that aren't answered in your thread.
Thanks dude.

I'll sell you my 2006 Subaru Legacy AWD. Has just under 30,000 miles. Auto, loaded except for leather. I'll take $18,000.
I've been looking at trucks and want to get rid of it anyway.

Thanks for the offer Brian, but that's a little more than I am looking to spend. I know those Subies are nice - my Aunt has a Legacy Outback LLBean Wagon and it's pretty sharp.
Eddmann...Sorry to hear about your wife's bender, but relieved to hear your kids and wife were ok. If my little one ( I was driving to pick her up from daycare ) would have been with me it's quite possible that she would have major neck injuries..or worse... It chokes me up just to think about it...
Anyone know of any 2003-4 Marauders out there? Those puppies are a lot of fun, and have plenty of room in the trunk to crumple when idiots plow into your backside....
Colin - that LS is gorgeous!!!

Thanks for the info guys. I'll check it out. My buddy has a sweet Pearl Blue 03 MM with a Trilogy supercharger on it. What a neat car. 4200 lbs, room for carseats and 10 golf bags in the trunk, and it runs low 13s in the quarter on street tires at 30psi!!!:pepper:
I have a few leads from the nice fellas here on SCS. Hopefully one of them will pan out. Stay tuned!!
6987 - thanks - I am pretty lucky that I'm not really banged up. That old fart really tagged me. Tomorrow I head to the doc and probably a chiropractor to have my neck checked, as I'm a little sore since Saturday afternoon. My wife thinks they should check my head while they're at it!!
Hopefully I get some good news from the insurance company in the next few days. Best case - they total the car and give me decent $$$ for it and I can buy back the SHO for a few hundred.... I don't want to think about worst case...

Hi 04,
Thanks for the offer. I'd love a truck, but I need something that can hold 2 carseats plus Mom. If it were a nice SportTrac we might be in business, but a regular or even an extended cab pickup would be a little too much of a squeeze.
Thanks anyway though...

Thanks for the offer Scott, but if I go the Mustang route, I'd want to have a 5-speed. Except for a 2 year period when I had a company car, all of my daily drivers have had manual transmissions.
Thanks again.

Hi all,
Well, I just bought a '90 Thunderbird SC off of Jason & Leann ( 89 Vert ). The car is super clean and well cared for, and Jason & Leann are SUPER nice people!! :goodidea:
It was a pleasure meeting and dealing with them.
Jason - don't worry - I'll take very good care of your baby. :)

Thanks SV - Jason bought the car in '94 with 40k on it. He had it for a while, then sold it to his brother-in-law who had it for a while. Then Jason bought it back and cleaned it up. Jason really took great care of the car. It runs like a top, the interior is basically perfect, everything works, and it handles very well. There's just a very small amount of rust in the passenger door bottom - nothing serious. I'll clean it up and hit it with POR-15 once the weather warms up. Other than that it is in dynamite shape.
I'm toying with the idea of getting some 5-lug chrome Cobra R rims for it.
Thanks again to Jason for a great deal on a car he obviously was very attached to!

The cobra r rims would look great, I always wanted to put them on it. Good Luck, Enjoy (try not to tear the tires off the rear!!):D
