Definitely a sweet ride. Unfortunately it has nothing to do with me. My other sig picture expired on putfile or something so I figured I'd throw that one up for a while. It was on the stage at the Ford Carlisle show last year. Here's another pic... twin supercharged, I think they said it had 900hp :goodidea:

on that note, car is finished everyone! i'll say this much, there are going to be some 8's going home with their tails between their legs, definitely needs some drag radials! pro-kit helped the handling and gave it a nice stance too:goodidea:

Hey Mike, had a fun time driving the car home. Rsponse is totally different and GREAT!!! There is also a big difference with the gears. I did watch the tach, it jumped up fast. Guess I will use overdrive more. Now the car is as quick as the looks. Suspension is good also, firm but not unbearable. Thanks again. You got my recommendation anytime.

Yea thats what i thought...back my last year of college ford bought cummins but from what i understood dodge had a lease with cummins for the diesel til 2011 and then Ford wasnt going to renew with them. They were going to start putting the cummins in a super duty. Idk but that new super duty look and the realiability of a cummins!!!! sounds like ford might be actually using their heads this time!!!

when i was at the carlisle show i asked the guys at the diesel booth if ford owned cummins and when was it going into the super duty and the guy told me ford did buy cummins to save it from going under however they have since sold it back to them all except 5%. so no cummins for us!!! ooo well...id rather be stroked then rammed any day of the week!:goodidea:

You probably already know this but there's a lot of v6 guys at www.mustangcollective.com (http://www.mustangcollective.com) Good chance that you can offload that 7.5 rear end over there to someone.

Saw this car today at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix. It is gorgeous! The owner ( Gary? ) was a nice guy. Here's some more info on the car - he has added quarter window scoops, a nice trunk spoiler ( different than in the previous pics ), Ford dual exhaust ( sounds REALLY nice!! ), and he took it back to Kentucky to have it re-tuned and squeezed another 20+ horses out of it - so now it is 285 or so to the wheels. The stance is just right and it is clean as can be. Mike's install of the Vortec looks fantastic!:goodidea: Oh - and he got 27 mpg on his last trip in the car. Not bad!!!

Not sure Mike. I was so busy running the American car show at the PVGP that I didn't have a lot of time to browse. It sure sounded good though - the Vortec has a nice whine to it, so you hear that when he's coming, and you get the nice burbling exhaust when he's going. Sweet install!! :goodidea:

Thanks man! He was just at the shop today, we put some headers on! He seems real happy, said the made a big difference! He is coming back soon to add the intercooler and then head back out to MD to have Ken retune the car. Hopefully he will spring for a converter too, forgot to talk to him about that today.
