Mark, This is a little off topic, but what kinda times do you run in your car w/ 663rwhp? I bet that thing is easily in the 9's, huh?
After I get my new 347 motor back, I should be in about the same power range as you.

LOL! One would think so. I have gotten into the tens with it but I don't race it all the time so it would be faster if I had more practice. I went 10.9 at 134 launching at 3k rpms and no power shifting.

The car is a full weight car with IRS rear suspension (way more than a 5.0 car), is lowered, and has nothing in the advantage category regarding drag racing or launching.

Whole bunch of the guys in my power level with this type of car run in the 10's with a good driver and some practice.

If I cared about the ultimate low ET I would do a k-member, suspension, remove tons of weight, and beat the snot out of it at the track. Well, lemme just say that I just paid it off and don't hate it like that. LOL

HP doesn't equal ET with these cars. Not always anyway.

For example, my old 5.0 Vortech car ran easy 11.40's with 380RWHP. Car was way lighter and could be launched hard. The MPH was only about 117 or so indicating that it's all relative.

I'll take it for an easy run down the track for you. Then you can say you didn't beat it.

What does your car weigh w/ driver? It must be close to 4000lbs. to trap 134mph. Was that 10.9 on slicks? drag radials? or street tires?
