Just got off the phone with J.B. Calhoun and wanted to let everyone know he finally put the shakedown passes on his new Pinto. He only has an eigth mile track to play in,but the numbers are impressive. He ran a 6.279 and 111.5 MPH.The 60' was a little off at 1.5,but the car is spinning off the line and on gear changes and he has a few tune problems to work out with fuel pressure and boost.By the time the suspension is dialed in and all the tuning is complete it should be capable of 5's in the eigth and high 8's in the quarter."CONGRATULATIONS BRAD"You are definately kicking ass with a completely home built car.
Thanks everyone. Thanks Brady for taking the videos.
Especially thanks to Jon Dell Blair for troubleshooting the fuel problems and a great tune.
It is a fun ride for sure! Next time might have to add in the nitrous to spool up faster!
