procharger belt install

how the heck do you get the belt on one of these? , my nephew just got a 2000 gt with a procharger self contained and he frayed the belt and i am trying to get a new one on there what a pain.

sometimes it is just easier to pull the head unit..

it is very very tight. it took two of us to do one on my buddies 99.

You have to take the unit off like Tim said.

unit is off and belt is on , it wasn't that bad to do, but i still have everything else to put back on tomorrow.

you can also take the alt bracket off and loosen the two alt bolts enought to tilt the alt forward, I have done it that way. It is a pain, changing those belts.

well its all done finshied it up tonight, it runs .... it was not a fun job and i hope not to do it again any time soon but i have some tricks for thenext time like what to hold the tensioner with ..
