ok so the other day me and my buddy got into an argument about his 04 v6 mustang, he is telling me he wants to run a 75 wet shot on it. his car is completely stock bottom end everything, all he has is mac catback, im like man your going to blow your motor maybe not the first time you hit it but by the time you at least hit it for the 5th time. he goes on to tell me that he research this all out and people run 100 shots on stock v6s and they run fine. please tell me am i loosing my mind or is my buddy a joke. last time i recalled i see stock mustang gt's blowing their stock bottom with a 75 shot. is it possible a v6 mustang can up hold a 75 shot, or even a 50 shot of wet nitrous? thankz:thmbsup:

:bsflag: on you

V6 can handle 100 shot EASY WITH PROPER TUNE! i know guys running 100 shot for 2+ years now on stock bottom ends. one i know for sure has a 100% stock motor.

Why couldn't it handle a 75 shot? It'd take that and ask for more. I've been spraying 125 on my 5.0 for the past 4 years and it's still alive.

MM&FF did an article a few years ago where they tested a stock bottom end 5.0 to see how much nitrous would blow up it. I believe they eventually injected it with a 400 shot, at which point a spark plug melted.

u def should go do some reasearch there are v6 stangs out there running mid low 12 on spray if not faster with stock short blocks

i have not done my research but i always thought since people blow stock gt bottom ends on 50 shots that a v6 would not hold up. guess i was wrong

chances are if u are scattering stuff on a 50 shot u have other problems other than the nitrous. they are spraying 50 shots on cavaliers and sunfires.

You're way out in left field on this one. Not many people "blow" Mustang V8's on 50 shots...in fact, I've NEVER heard of this. I don't even know anyone who would ever even run that small of a shot anyway.
