i had my 81 mustang at the track this past friday, it went 10.56 at 129, seemed to fall off on the big end, the valve springs have been on the heads for 5 years, so i think that is where i start, and the rims were spinning in the tires, but all in all i am pretty happy with it, i can't wait to spray it...

What kind of eighth mile numbers does 10.56@129 equal?

I wanted to stop and talk to you (about a roll bar), but was a little PO'ed about my clutch and got the heck out of there. You were just going out for that run when I was crossing over with the Capri so I didnt get to see it go. Sweet car you got there.

Cool...

Have you tried more timing?? Maybe that would help up top.

Takes a little time to burn across a 4.390 bore...especially in old iron castings.

What heads?

Tranny?

Rear Gear?

Dove-C heads, C6 tranny, 4.77 gears with 32" tires, i need better fuel before i can run more timing however, i still have the stock curve in the msd dist, so i need to tune it up before long...

Nice...:goodidea:

Even doing it on a heavy, power-robbing c6.
