I currently have a Spec stage 2, but it's not too user friendly. Any suggestions for something a little more DD oriented?

I have a ram powergrip HD and i like it. Pedal isn't to stiff, and it hasn't let me down yet (knock on wood).

ram is a good clutch as far as a dd and will still take a decent amount of power.

3 or 3+?? From what i've seen on the boards, there's a huge difference in every way... 3+ is more driveable and also can hold way more power... j/w

3

The 3 is good for up to 700hp and the 3+ is for over 700hp.

Update...just ordered a Spec 3+. After talking to Terry @ Streetlathol he said a 3+ is more streetable and would not have the chatter that a 3 has.

Damn there goes moe $$$.:rotflol:

My stuff is different, but I love my 3+ in my Capri. A ton more torque rating than the 3, and easy to drive. My clutch pedal is effortless, but the 2.3 stuff uses a bellcrank design, so the pedal effort wil lalways be light compared to a direct pull 5.0 set-up. I tried the pedal in a 5.0 car with a 3+ and it was a bit harder. Also ,the 3+ is a little grabby t ostart, but smooths right out after the break in. With ALL spec clutches, follow the break in to the letter.

haha, good thing i asked eh?

Yes, spec 3 is a 700ftlb and 3+ is 850ftlb... plus the 3+ is designed to be very streetable... Once again, i am very happy with mine and glad i got it.... However, i'm right below the torque limit of the 3+ so i'm fearful it won't last super long... we'll see though... i'm not really giving it much track duty, so not many hard launches at all - hopefully that will extend its life
