Here is the e.t.s for the night and the incrementals of the best run.

1. 10.815
2. 10.830
3. 10.763
4. 10.815
5. 10.813
6. 10.867

Best run @ 7:21 pm

60' 1.468
330' 4.367
660' 6.830
MPH 99.80
1000' 8.953
1320'10.763
MPH 123.63

First run generated the best 60' of 1.448

To say I am happy is an understatement. I have had many trials and tribulations with this NON-FLYCUT oem stock shortblock H/C/I combo. It has seen some worth while mods as it evolved. One of the "best" mods I put on the 5-Liter is the addition of a Holley systemax. It pulls strong to 6,500 rpm, whereas with the Track heat felt as if it was sticking it's tongue out at 6,200 rpm. Big props to Anderson Hi-Rev clutchs that allowed some strong 60's. Can't say enough about Fox Lakes' CNC program and TFS Twisted Wedge cylinder heads. Comp cams camshafts and Bee Hive springs that keep everything in check @ 6,700 rpms.

As a sidenote, Cecil had minimal prep and the 2-step never got beyond 5,600 rpm. Last outing at PRP track rental I was able to leave the line with 6,600 rpm dialed in the 2-step.

What color is your car? There were lots of Foxes up there, and I will agree the prep sucked. Everytime I ran I got to sit right up at the front and watch all the morons pull straight through the water right up to the line, so needless to say I sat there and watched the track prep go away.

Good runs!!

In a simple answer... YES!

WTG Joe! That is DAMN impressive! Hell even if it wasn't a OEM shortblock it would be damn impressive, but the fact that it is make it all the more special. Your one gear banging SOB!

Now, about that dart 363... :D

It's a red GT with a 4" black cowl induction hood. I didn't see them prep the starting line one time. I was limited to 5,400 rpm launches whereas back home at PRP rental I was able to leave @ 6,600 rpm. I think I saw a yellow 04 in the farthest left side in the staging lanes.

Did you beat down any records last night? It seemed to me that the humidity increased as the night progressed. Did your MPH diminish as the night unfolded?

363.5 c.i.d.
225+ cc highports
solid roller
super Vic EFI
105mm T.B.
1 7/8"-2" stepped headers
AEM
Dart aluminum block
Jesel shaft rockers+belt drive
dry sump
shift 9,000 rpm
G-Force GF-5R
Soft-Lok long style
mid 9's@ 140 something N/A

It would be nice to put that combination on the chip dialed in at 8,000 rpm:goodidea:

Nobody in my crew did any videos. It would have been nice to catch that 1.44 60' on vid.
